Preliminary plans have been developed for the extension of the Mystic River trail system under Route 28, connecting Ten Hills with Assembly Square. The preliminary plans are available to view or for download on the right sidebar.

A public meeting was held on December 17, 2009. A pdf of the presentation is available on the right sidebar.

The City is managing the completion of the design phase, after which the path extension will be constructed in conjunction with improvements to Assembly Square.
